Right now there is a big problem with hiring and retaining and retiring NYPD.They are in danger of falling below 30,000 officers which would be the lowest in decades. NYPD wants to offer pension money to cops eligible for retirement. I think they will get $12,000 per year added to their final pension if they postpone retirement for a few years. |
