I thought they were only allowed to name streets after dead people. Guess they made an exception because he was alive when the street was named.Anyway, that was the excuse they used when they were asked to co-name the last block of Coney Island Avenue after Neil Sedaka. So the Department of Parks put up a sign instead which I don’t know if it’s still there. |
