The Israel Hamas War is the Spanish Civil War.In the Spanish Civil War, once it was over, the losers (at least those who weren't executed) consented to be governed by the winners, as opposed to leaving the territory, or being expelled from the territory, that the winners now controlled. And as an aside, 40 years later the original losers won through democratic means and while disputes remain, neither side is intent on defeating or expelling the other any more. I don't see that kind of outcome for the Israel-Hamas war. |
