I said there is a long history in the US of targeting people for a long list of reasons. This practice has gone on for much of the history of this country. That being the case, it doesn't change whether someone is or is not guilty of what they are charged with in any particular case. And even if one is not ok with a process, sometimes people are happy with the result. If the police and/or DA fudge the evidence so they get a conviction of someone who is guilty, but maybe the evidence is a bit weak most folks wouldn't bat an eyelash. And if he got out on appeal the same folks could not be happy. That's the real world. In my opinion - Yes, Trump is targeted, and Yes, Trump is dirty. If he wasn't targeted, he'd still be dirty. |
