I've seen the craziness in LA.Also, I thought San Francisco was worse than LA. Oakland was just as bad. But you haven't seen anything until you are in Atlanta. Government buildings close for the evening, Tent City opens for the night. All over downtown. All types, races, even children and babies. Seen this up close, and personal..spent a week out there trying to convince parents with children to go into assisted living. Some went, some outright refused telling me they would rather take their chances on the streets than deal with the shelter system. Families with children..rather than going into the shelter, said they were better off sleeping on the sidewalk, alley wherever, than dealing with the Shelters. How far we have fallen. |
