Posted by Peter Rosa on Sat Sep 30 22:53:43 2023 The Cathedral of St. John the Divine, near Columbia University. Under construction since 1892 but not even close to completion, and no word on when if ever it will be finished. True, it's not a government project like the Second Avenue Subway, and it certainly doesn't help that the Episcopal Church is sinking like a stone, but I am convinced that if it were in a Can-Do city like Austin or Nashville or Columbus, there would be far more progress. |
