With breezes and winds scattering covid particles, it is virtually impossible to catch outdoors.

There was at least one documented instance of casual outdoor contact. Genomic sequencing revealed who infected whom. Their only point of contact was passing each other on the street.

A person can become infectious without showing symptoms. It took only a single infected person to start the pandemic in NYC.
