Yep. 61st & Roosevelt. It used to be called Breslin and Sweeney's. Old school post prohibition gin mill where they had big mirrors behind the bar and the bartenders still wore aprons. Word had it that the Breslin in the Breslin & Sweeny was columnist Jimmy Breslin. Haven't been by there in awhile so I don't know what the new name is. |
