I am against draconian restrictions. I'm also against violating the law. Bottom line: In the beginning we were dealing with a disease thought to be incredibly dangerous and incredibly contagious. For those reasons, I followed mask regulations as well as the other stupidity. As we learned more and as vaccines became available, I relaxed my observance. At that point, if a store required a mask, I either followed the rules or shopped elsewhere. When I was working on set, the star of the movie was 85 years old. The producer insisted on masks and a covid test every other day. No test or mask, you didn't get on the set. I very badly wanted to work with this individual (the movie opens next Friday) so I followed the rules. I found in my 70+ years you need to pick your fights carefully. I do just that |
