Isn't that what free speech is all about?Speech for the purpose of influencing other people's conduct can have restrictions. For example, Sam Bankman-Fried is discovering it's not free speech to say "Hand over your money to me and I will invest it in cryptocurrency for you" when the statement isn't actually true. (I am of course ignoring the issue that private entities are free to censor speech as much as they want, just like Musk is doing now.) |
