The most senior justice was appointed in 1990. So counting from then to 2022, that’s 32 years. Of those, 14 had a Republican President and 18 had a Democrat, and yet the Republicans have a 6-3 majority.And on top of that, only 6 of those years were under a Republican who won the popular vote. |
