I owned a car for 47 years. I brought it to a mechanic many dozens of times.OK, so maybe owning an EV when you can't charge it at home will cost you 6 or 8 extra hours a year. And that's only as long as your trips aren't long ones. On a long trip, people need to do a bathroom break every 2 to 3 hours anyway. Now the extra time to charge up an EV at a high speed station will be barely noticed. |
