Actual criminal conspiracies involving thousands of people never stay hidden for long because someone eventually squeals. For criminal conspiracies, a few dozen is probably the max that could stay secret. I suppose the Stop the Steal crowd would allege that it was many separate conspiracies involving only a handful of people each. Say, in many, many locations a few Democrats decided to toss a whole bunch of ballots or managed to make mail-in ballots happen for people who never voted, etc. Of course there is no evidence of even one of these small criminal conspiracies. And your basic theory still applies. If there were hundreds of conspiracies involving a handful of people each, at least one of those would have been found out. |
