Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Louise Higgins and her sister.They are of Irish-Catholic ancestry. Why would Irish-Catholic females found Planned Parenthood? To defend women against the patriarchy. Back then, it was the norm for Irish-Catholics to have extra large families, of about 10 kids. For many women this created health problems. Margaret Louise and her sister realized this and wanted to stop their mother's suffering. She was always pregnant, and miscarrying, and in pain. The sisters figured their father to be a patriarchal piece of shit with no concern for their mother's health, and only concerned with wanting a large family like most others in their community. Anyway, in modern times you are right, most abortions are performed on minorities. But it's a medical procedure. Why should minorities be denied what white women had access to for so long? |
