I certainly don’t believe that the Bible was written by inspired men, some of it must have been written by schizophrenics or people on drugs, but it’s fiction, some of it using actual historical events.Zeus is relevant because you’re an atheist with respect to Zeus and all other gods. I just go one god further. Anyway, this actually goes beyond the discussion of the afterlife. “God” can be defined rather broadly, so that that one can say the majesty of the universe is an aspect of “God,” but there still is no afterlife, it’s made up like the story of Adam and Steve. |
