Posted by LuchAAA on Mon Mar 7 03:03:11 2022, in response to Re: Shamrock Shake @ McDonald's, posted by Fred G on Mon Mar 7 02:51:38 2022. It was only in New York, one of their biggest markets.Yes, it was only New York that DIDN'T carry the Shamrock Shake, while people all over the country, including some NYC suburbs were finding it. As a result, a NYC foodie and blogger started a blog dedicated to the seasonal treat and where to find it. Everyone found it strange that when the Shamrock Shake came back it was limited and noticeably absent in NYC(five boroughs). So they dropped the shake because of lagging sales but everybody here who lives outside of New York saw them all the time. Me, Selkirk, etc. you are incorrect. It was the other way around, Fred G. The Shake made a comeback, it wasn't "dropped". Each year it expanded it's coverage, but oddly, for some reason NYC's five boroughs just wouldn't carry it. Strange since NYC hosts a huge St. Patrick's Day parade, possibly the largest in the US. The treatment of Shamrock Shake by McDonald's(a huge corporation under the magnifying glass of WOKEism) points to cancel culture and PC, racial scorecarding. It bothers you that it was identified. You want real Americans to live in ignorant bliss. Thanks for attacking with misinformation. |
