A portion of the 81 Million did vote for that. Most probably hoped he would not do that. Others voted for him because they thought he was the lesser of two evils against Trump. I am not saying that they are correct with that assessment, but I do know some who felt that they did not like either option and figured they had nothing to lose with Biden versus having a President who would be a "lame duck" in that he could not run for President again. These voters I know voted for Romney over Obama in 2012 for the same reason. |
