Act 77 is being reviewed for constitutionality by SCOPA. The lower court, with a Republican majority, ruled against it, and the PA State Department appealed.Interestingly, 11 or the 14 Republican lawmakers who brought this lawsuit actually voted FOR Act 77 in 2019. This law wasn't a problem for them until Trump lost in 2020. Act 77 allowed no-excuse mail-in voting statewide. |
