I have no doubt that there are highly qualified black women on the bench. In fact, I know some excellent black female judges in Queens and Brooklyn. I’m not scared of black female judges at all.My point was that MLK dreamed of a society where people’s character mattered more than the color of their skin. Biden’s announced intention to ONLY seek a black female judge on the Supreme Court runs directly against MLK’s dream. It also smacks of affirmative action. |
