No, it's the truth. Trump absolutely expected the conservative side of SCOTUS to protect him, especially Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett. He can't retaliate against them like he ordinarily would anyone else who dared to "cross" him by not blindly doing his bidding, though. Trump must be having fits of apoplexy over it this morning.
