D-Day is a big one and even if people know it's important, many don't fully know what happened that day. Same with Pacific battles like Midway or Corregidor, which aren't D-Day level but still important milestones. I know people who don't know which war the raising of the flag on Mt. Suribachi took place in ("Korea") |
