It contains a link to the source study.Link: https://www.statnews.com/2021/12/07/a-first-small-study-suggests-omicron-is-a-larger-threat-to-covid-19-immunity-than-other-variants/ "The scientists found that, overall, there was a 41-fold reduction in neutralization against Omicron compared to an early form of the coronavirus, a substantial drop but not necessarily a devastating one." The weakness of in vitro studies is they don't directly relate to how sick a person is likely to get. We're going to have to wait for epidemiological studies to answer that question. |
