In the current cars, (keyless ignition), if the car doors are closed, the car can be started if the key is inside the car, with the push button..Proximity key..My ignorance for driving a 24 year old car. So with this type of setup, the best thing for the police to do is get the key from the driver, and walk away from the car, far enough so the key cannot be detcted. Agreed. There's a way of preventing the car from moving without forcibly removing its occupants. |
