Even though I do not agree with the fact that Donald Trump did not stand with the current and ex presidents at the World Trade Center last 9 11 2021, I am still a Trumper.On many pro Trump facebook pages, I asked the following question, "Why wasn't he with the rest of the ex presidents at the World Trade Center site?" Here are a few of the answers I received. because he wanted to be with the honest men from whom the self-sacrificing heroes of 9/11 had come rather than to be with a bunch of two-faced politicians. That's fine and commendable, but he could have made time for them either before or after the ceremony. He should have put his differences aside and been with the ex presidents. Why? For decorum? Sorry, they all lied about him and worked to undermine his Presidency which disadvantaged the American people. The Dems have made a mockery of the notion of 'respecting the office of the President' because Donald Trump broke their presumed line of succession. so the news channels could mo-ck him? Don't you think 6 years of that was enough? President Trump was there,. I’m glad he didn’t get in that picture with the crooked bunch. wants to hang out w/ Michael Obama ? He doesn't run with trash. maybe he felt he could do the most good some place else to encourage and honor the still living. It was kind of a farce and mockery to watch Biden lay a wreath when many are barely cold in their recently dug graves because of his action in Afghanistan, helping the Taliban like he has? Maybe Trump couldn’t stomach standing next to Clinton,Obama and Biden I suspect he was not invited to take part in the ceremony. The former President did what he always did, took his message directly to the people. I would imagine that to be seated with the current and former Presidents he would have had to have formally asked to attend. Perhaps he was invited and declined, choosing to be among those who are not hostile towards him. I found it odd that the former Mayor Giuliani was not among that group. He was a major player in keeping NYC together after the terror attacks. f I was him I would have done exactly what he did. Sitting with that group is not impressive considering their behavior. |
