They clearly interfered with the operation of Congress. They forced a shutdown of an active session.Anyway, even if she wasn't technically a burglar under DC code, she certainly was reasonably perceived to be threatening the lives and safety of the people the police officer was charged with protecting. She was not just an obviously harmless trespasser. |
