Of course it's quite likely they were studying the Yunnan bat virus in Wuhan. They may even have tinkered with it in small ways. And then it could easily have escaped. All that is plausible or even likely.

But the scientific evidence is that covid 19 is not genetically engineered, which is what Luch was suggesting.
