People who were vaccinated want to sweep it "under the rug" since for them, they are protected and the pandemic is over.(And of course assuming Stephen's doom and gloom about lambda is unwarranted.) But it's not over, not even for the vaccinated. Why do people keep thinking Delta is the final form this virus is going to take and it won't mutate again? As long as the disease is raging around the world, there's an increased chance that a mutation will occur that will evade the antibodies created for the vaccine. |
