See AlM’s response, but the difference isn’t that it’s easier or harder for some people to get vaxxed, but that voter ID is a solution in search of a problem. Since voter impersonation is essentially nonexistent, these laws are obviously implemented as a voter suppression tactic. OTOH, vaccine requirements serve a useful purpose.Assuming that voter impersonation were actually a rampant problem, or even a minor problem, then voter ID would be justified and it wouldn’t be inherently racist to implement it. |
