Keating, Javits, and D'Amato voted for Senate Majority Leader candidates whose stated intention was NOT to make the then-current president a one-term president. The stated intention of the current Republican leadership is to make Biden a half-term president. Enough new Yorkers understand this to make a Republican Senator almost inconceivable.For governor, this impediment would not exist. |
