He’s an empty suit insofar as he’s portrayed as being the hyper-sophisticated, hyper-intelligent leader who was uniquely suited to unify the nation. He was nothing more than a smooth talking con man, a divisive snake oil salesman who promised much but delivered little and left office with this country more divided than when he found it. Useful idiots like Chris “ol’ Tingle Legs” Matthews were so enraptured by the smooth manner and the amiable chatter that they were never able to look past the showmanship and see emptiness inside.

That’s why I call Obama an “empty suit”.
