Posted by Fisk Ave Jim on Sun Apr 18 19:02:00 2021 Who? Good question. He was the Kingsman's lead singer and guitarist on "Louie Louie". Passed away the other day on his 77th Birthday. He played the most recognizable guitar riff on the songs intro & the middle bridge. Those of us of a certain age remember how great the tune was without understanding a single word. Bible belt top 40 radio stations had to deal with protesters demanding the song to be pulled from airplay simply because the lyrics were unintelligable therefore must be dirty.Amazing |
