Dutch Windfarn Coming Down |
|
|
Posted by Train Dude on Sat Apr 3 10:30:02 2021 The entire Dutch Irene Vannik windfarm is coming down as the Dutch decommission 74 wind turbines. The turbines are just 24 years old. The industry average lifespan for a wind turbine is 25 years. Wind farm proponents do not like to speak about the fact that initial costs of a wind turbine, maintenance and costs of decommissioning currently exceed the vue of the electricity that they produce. In any event, THE Dutch will replace the turbines with 61 second generation turbines. |
