Water cooling is not highly flawed. I'd like to see progress on molten salt reactors, but what we have now is OK if properly managed.

And to mention Fukushima again, the newer reactors shut down properly, did not melt down, and did not release radiation, so even there we're already ahead of the curve, just that the older reactors were carelessly allowed to continue operating despite the design flaws. But fossil fuels are inherently flawed, they release dangerous and deadly emissions on a daily basis, and not as a rare disaster.
