Sure it could happen. But predicting the nominee of the non-presidential party 3-1/2 years in advance is a fool's errand. Jeb Bush was a shoo-in for 2016 at many moments.I would also say that Biden is more likely to be the Democratic candidate than Harris, and that "neither Harris nor Biden" is also possible, though less likely than Biden or Harris. Democrats discovered in 2016 how bad it was to just let the obvious candidate get an almost free pass. |
