Reality check:

As you pointed out, the publisher did it themselves.

These are 6 minor books that most people have never heard of, they’re not doing anything to Cat in the Hat, etc.

These are children’s books. Do you know of any adults who want to read these for themselves? Children shouldn’t learn that these sort of racist and antisemitic caricatures are OK.
