Unfortunately, the limits of what's considered intolerable have also dropped considerably. Look how many people made excuses about the riot, how fast the politicians backpedaled from impeaching Trump, the election of either nutcases or conspiracy opportunists, and how the right-wing media is still feeding the same crap. You or I may not be consuming Fox or Newsmax, but a vast number of Republicans are. What do you think it will do to a person's mindset, with that being their only source of news, day in and day out? |
