Queens is like that to an extent. In Brooklyn people were not as not as fussy about the neighborhood they came from but us Queens people were kind of defined by our neighborhoods. More than six years ago I went to a food truck event by Morgan Ave on the L train. Everyone calls that neighborhood "Bushwick". No one says "East Williamsburg".
