First,there’s nothing normal about people participating in acts of terrorism. The perps that found themselves unable to fly out of DC were documented and identified as being there.Second, if you can afford personal tactical gear (stuffs not exactly cheap), high power rifles (many rioters were armed) airfare and DC hotels and aren't an old-money trust fund baby chances are you have a good job that you're about to lose. So how are you going to pay for your defense lawyer,much less the expense of travel to and from DC for trial? (though some get an unexpected extended "vacay" in DC's less than finest accommodations) Looks to me they planned this at some kegger at 3am when they ran out of beer. |
