Well, saying "Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle" certainly implies that he doesn't want his sons to grow up in "a racial jungle".The thing is, what he meant by "a racial jungle" was NOT simply an integrated environment, but rather one with "tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point." He didn't want his sons to grow up amid race riots. A peacefully integrated community would be fine. |
