It's a state holiday in Connecticut.It's also a holiday in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and a few other countries. In the UK, we get a four-day weekend, with the usual result of all roads leading vaguely towards south-west England being a permanent traffic jam from about midday Maundy Thursday to midday Good Friday. |
