There WAS a quid pro quo. I know that for a fact. Bloomberg agreed to support Christine's Mayoral campaign in exchange for her engineering a loophole in the term limits law (so that Bloomberg could run again), despite people voting for term limits on the Mayor and PA, TWICE.

I publicly criticized Christine over this on WWRL when it happened.
