In this video, after Rittenhouse has already shot one person, his next victim tries to stop the bloodshed by knocking Rittenhouse down and striking the alleged killer with a skateboard. Rittenhouse sits upright and shoots the man at nearly point-blank range. Then, Rittenhouse gets up and fires several more shots even though no one is close to him at this point at all.He then tried to surrender to the police, who completely ignore him, and the shouts of witnesses who warn that Rittenhouse had just shot people. The cops later said they didn't arrest Rittenhouse at the scene because there was "too much chaos". That's bullshit. I've participated in protest marches that had hundreds of thousands of participants, making all kinds of noise, and still seen cops single out the EXACT person they wanted to arrest amid the pandemonium. "Self-defense"? No sale. |
