Despite the fact that two people are dead, bail should be based on whether the accused will show up to Court as well as danger to others as he awaits trial. Considering the notoriety, he is unlikely to be a danger to others because he will be immediately recognized. Not to mention, if his passport and photo ID were turned over, he is much less of a flight risk. |
