You do not get to attain her California AG position or even courtroom attorney by being "slow". Biden was a severe stutterer. This culture interprets that (and deafness) as stupid, which is not so.You're part right. Slow was the wrong word anyway. She's not stupid. I meant not as smart as I expected. But that could also be off as you correctly point out. Whatever the reason, it's not a good quality for a politician and I'm surprised to see her make it this far after hearing her ad lib. As for making it this far, I can guess that she made it this far strictly by making the right political friends and by television advertising. Democrats control California and especially Bay Area democrats. If you're in the good graces of powerful people you bounce from one office to the next and keep moving up. |
