Posted by Train Dude on Fri Oct 30 18:59:09 2020 Last week it was IHOP. Today it was Buffalo Wilding. Stopped for lunch with friends and after 10 minutes the waitress comes over and asks, "What can I get you?" I reply in my usual deadpan manner, "I'd like to start with a menu." She promptly points to a QR code decal on the table and says that you have to scan it. So now, I asked, " The sign on the door says that I must have a mask to enter. It doesn't say I must also have a smartphone in order to eat." Several minutes later, she brought us paper menus. Is this going to be the new normal? |
