Nobody except real racists/"white nationalists" has thought otherwise for many decades. But no one else has heretofore been capitalizing the word "White". Hence, spelling "White" with a capital "W" has become associated with a view of whiteness that excludes Jews. Hopefully that will change if that spelling becomes more commonplace.
