Sorry I never thought it to be am offensive term until yesterday when Senator Hirono said it. I've heard people use it for years. Then again I never thought Oriental as a slight to Asians or Shylock as anti-Semitic. Do you really get offended when you hear people say it? If people were really homophobic I think they would use far harsher terms. Intent is the main thing. This political correctness is getting out of hand. |
