I think Trump has a complete right to be blatantly partisan and appoint someone. Just like Obama had the right.

But the next time Democrats have both houses and the presidency they have the complete right to be blatantly partisan and pack the court.

I think the next fully Democratic Congress should pass a law that says one new justice can be appointed in every odd year, irrespective of the number currently on the court (maybe with extra appointments allowed when the roster drops below 9). Eventually the Court would grow to about 15 members, give or take.
