Especially as non-re-elected representatives should not be mak8ng such future-oriented decisions once the people have voted to turn them out of office.That wasn't the casein February 2016. Justice Garland would have taken a seat long before election day had the Constitutional right of President Obama been observed as it shall have been. The senate must honor their own (stupid, yet recently enforced) precedent. They made that bed. Now they must be held to lie in it. |
