There are a number of common causes for that problem. Before you spend any money and replace the phone, is there a point of demarcation (think first jack) that you can plug in a regular line powered (not speaker or wireless phone) with nothing else plugged in the house? (I have all kinds of test sets, meters, and the like, but I'm 3000 miles away..) |
